SMS Consent to Your Website

SMS consent language needs to be added to your website so that guests can opt in to text message updates. The best place for this is your checkout or booking page, where guests complete a reservation. If that’s not possible, it can go on your Contact Us page instead, just make sure it’s clearly visible.

The following text must be added with a checkbox beside it:

I would like to receive updates by text message from [COMPANY_NAME]. We will send booking reminders and stay-related updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for help, or STOP at any time to opt out. View our Privacy Policy. (http://www.example.com/)

Two requirements:

    1    The checkbox must be optional
    1    The checkbox must be optional and unchecked by default
    2    “Privacy Policy” must be a hyperlink
    1    The hyperlink needs to be clickable and should lead the user to your SMS privacy policy page
